We are now coming to the end of what has been a very successful year. Pictured left are the Boys of the Company Section, along with some of the last year Junior Section Boys. The table in front has upon it the haul of trophies we have collected this year for a range of competitions including drill, football, swimming and a quiz (see photo below).

In the last 12 months the Company have won two swimming trophies, one 5-a -side football, a District quiz, and all four drill trophies. In addition, there have been individual wins for Christopher Baird (NCOs Drill Competition Winner), Andrew Higton (NCOs Drill Competition Runner-Up) and Greg Turner (Swimming). At the District Sports, a number of Boys achieved a host of individual medals for various sporting events.

The Boys this year have clearly set a very high standard, in all aspects of the Boys’ Brigade, and have certainly made the 79th Glasgow Boys’ Brigade one of the most successful Companies in Glasgow, and potentially in the whole of Scotland.
