Company Section letter for 29/08/08

Welcome Back

We hope that you have all enjoyed your summer break, and are looking forward to another enjoyable and successful session at Company Section. A special welcome to the new recruits who have joined from Junior section. We hope that you enjoy your time with us.

Next Friday

No hanging around - we are into the full swing of the first blocks programme next week. We will be running the interest classes for the intermediate age groups, as well as running the new "Discover" program for the 1st years, and also this year the Seniors programme will incorporate a project (or series of projects).

Bible Class

An integral part of the Company Section programme is Sunday attendance at Bible Class. This is also an essential part of the higher awards in the company such as Presidents & Queens Badges. We expect regular attendance from boys who are aiming for achievements in these awards. We would ask as many of the rest of the boys to attend also. This will be starting next Sunday, 10AM - 10.30AM in one of the upper rooms.

Summer Camp

I hope I speak for everyone who attended the summer camp to Brodie Castle this year by saying that we had a fantastic camp. The behaviour by the boys was impeccable, and this along with the camaraderie that there was by all boys and staff, added to the enjoyment of the trip. I would like to thank again all the staff who gave up their own holidays to help out - without this help the camp would not have run so smoothly.

Enrolment Parade

Just to give you advanced warning that this will take place on the morning of Sunday 5th October in our Church. More details will be given nearer the time.

Consent Forms & Donations

We must have all completed consent forms returned to us as soon as possible for insurance purposes. If you have not already done so can you please bring this in next week. Can you please make all donations payable by cheque where possible. This allows us to keep a better track of monies going into the company account. Again if you could please bring these in as soon as possible that would be greatly appreciated.
