Senior Section (Ages 15-18)
President's Badge
- Once all 3 Grades of each of the 5 badges have been achieved, and once the boy is 15, he is eligible to work towards the President's Badge.
- Attending Leadership and Drill courses are part of the activities carried out to gain the award.
Queen's Badge
- Once a Boy holds the President's Badge, and is 16, he is eligible to work towards the Queen's Badge, the highest award in the Brigade.
- The boy is required to attend a Queen's Badge Conference, undertake some Practical Leadership, attend Leadership Courses, undertake a minimum of 30 hours community service, undertake either an Expedition, Interest or Physical activity, and attend a Residential Queen's Badge Completion Course.
Seniors' Award
- The Senior's Award is an optional award, and is intended as a fun extra for the boys to undertake.
- The award involves the boys undertaking a series of tasks from the "Senior's Award task box", with the completion of each gaining the boy a certain number of points.
- Tasks range from fitting as many marshmallows in your mouth as possible, to planning and carrying out an overnight expedition.
NCOs
- Boys who are keen, responsible and take an active part in the Company may be promoted, and become a Non Commissioned Officer.
- The boy can work his way through the ranks (Lance Corporal, Corporal, Sergeant) to the point where they reach the age limit in the Company Section, where they may be promoted to a Staff Sergeant.
NCOs will help the officers with the overall running of the Company, and will set an example to the younger members of the Company.
